Billing for several stores or BigCommerce storefronts

You can run ASM on more than one store, or on more than one BigCommerce storefront. This article explains how each is billed. It applies to stores billed in the app. Shopify stores are billed by Shopify. See Billing for Shopify stores.

Several stores, one card

Stores that use the same email address share one billing account with us, and so one card. Even so:

• Each store has its own subscription. Its own plan, its own extensions, its own Next billing date.
• Each store has its own invoices. Open Billing → View invoice history → in each store to download its receipts.
• Changing the card in one store changes it for all of them, because they share it. See Update your card and download invoices.

When you subscribe a new store and already have an ASM account, the new store is added to your existing account.

BigCommerce: several storefronts

If your BigCommerce store has more than one storefront (channel), the Billing page of your main store shows a Multiple storefronts card. Each storefront is listed with a badge:

• Not billed — the storefront isn't using ASM yet, or is running without being billed.
• Channel — the storefront runs through your main store's ASM admin. It's added to your main store's subscription as Additional storefronts ×N, at a monthly fee per storefront.
• Full store — the storefront runs as its own independent ASM store, on its own subscription at the plan price, managed in that channel's admin.

The card shows the current price of each option on its buttons. Both are charged to your card on file.

Add a storefront

1. Go to Billing in your main store.
2. In Multiple storefronts, find the storefront.
3. Select Enable channel to run it through this admin, or Full store to make it an independent store.

A channel added to your subscription is prorated and charged now.

Remove a storefront

• Channel: select Remove next to it.
• Full store: select Cancel next to it. Its subscription ends at the end of its paid period, and the badge shows Ending until then.

Switch between storefronts in ASM

On the Dashboard, use Select store: to move between storefronts. Your main storefront is labeled (Main Store). To set up rules per storefront, see BigCommerce: multiple storefronts and channels.

Uninstalling

Uninstalling ASM from BigCommerce cancels the subscriptions of your main store and its storefronts immediately. See Cancel or reactivate your subscription.
