Plans and extensions
ASM is sold as a plan plus optional extensions. The plan is the core app. Extensions add carriers and features on top. This article explains how they fit together. Your Billing page always shows your current prices.
Shopify stores are billed through Shopify, and this article doesn't apply to them. See Billing for Shopify stores.
The plans
You choose one plan:
- Bundle — the core app, with a set of extensions included and one carrier extension free. You add other extensions as you need them, each for its own monthly fee.
- VIP — every extension included. You don't pay for extensions separately.
Prices are shown per month on the Billing page. To see them, go to Billing in the ASM menu. If you haven't subscribed yet, the Choose a plan card lists each plan with its price.
What Bundle includes
These extensions are included with Bundle at no extra cost. They show on the Billing page as included with your plan, at $0.00:
- Points System
- Multi Origin Zip Codes
- Delivery Estimates for Checkout
- Customer Tags/Groups
One carrier free
Bundle also includes one carrier extension free from the carriers group. If you pick several carriers, the cheapest one you pick is free and the others are billed. A carrier you're already paying for never becomes free later, so when you add a carrier to an existing subscription, the free slot goes to the cheapest new carrier you add.
Extensions
Extensions are grouped on the Billing page, for example carriers, carrier accounts, delivery dates, sales tax and international, and other features. Each one adds a monthly fee to your plan, unless your plan includes it.
- Extensions marked Coming soon can't be selected yet.
- One-time add-ons are bought once instead of monthly.
Your price is your price
The Billing page reads your prices live from our billing system. If you're on an older or negotiated price, that's what you see, not the current list price. If the page can't reach the billing system, it shows Billing temporarily unavailable instead of guessing. Try again in a few minutes.
Switching plans
You can move between Bundle and VIP from the Billing page. If you have a custom negotiated price, contact us to change plan instead, so you keep your pricing. Moving from VIP to Bundle switches off the extensions Bundle doesn't include, rather than starting to bill you for them. See Change your plan or extensions.
