Connect Veeqo

Connect Veeqo to quote UPS, FedEx and USPS rates through your Veeqo account at checkout. ASM uses Veeqo for rates only: it doesn't buy labels or send orders to Veeqo.

Before you begin

What Veeqo covers

  • US to US shipments only. Veeqo doesn't quote international shipments.
  • UPS, FedEx and USPS services from your Veeqo account, plus Veeqo Best Rate, which picks the cheapest quote.
  • Every Veeqo service is its own shipping method, so your markups, free shipping and delivery estimates work as usual.

Before you start

  • Veeqo turned on for your store. Veeqo isn't in the add-on list. Contact support and we'll turn it on. The Veeqo card then appears in Settings → Carriers.
  • A Veeqo API key from your Veeqo account.
  • Veeqo's shipping (rate shopping) API enabled for that key. It's a Veeqo beta for Enterprise accounts, so ask Veeqo to turn it on. Without it, Veeqo answers "feature not enabled".
  • Your phone number under Settings → General. ASM sends it to Veeqo as the origin phone. Without it, FedEx services come back unavailable through Veeqo (UPS and USPS still quote).

Steps

  1. Go to Settings → Carriers and select Veeqo.
  2. Paste your API key. After you save, it shows as stars.
  3. Optional: under Settings → General, fill in Origin address 1 and Origin city. ASM sends them to Veeqo.
  4. Select Save Settings.
  5. In Shipping Rules, add the Veeqo methods you want to offer. See Add a shipping method.

Veeqo quotes FedEx Ground to business addresses and FedEx Home Delivery to homes, never both for one address. If you offer FedEx Ground through Veeqo, add both methods so every shopper gets one.

Check that it works

Veeqo has no Test connection button. Quote a cart to a US address in the Shipping Estimator and look for your Veeqo methods. See Test your rates with the Shipping Estimator.

The estimator may show slightly higher Veeqo rates than checkout. When there's no street address, Veeqo prices the address as residential, which costs more. At checkout the shopper's real street is sent.

Common problems

  • "Veeqo Error - no API key saved in Settings" — paste your API key on the Veeqo card and save.
  • "Veeqo Error - …" with Veeqo's message — Veeqo rejected the request. "Feature not enabled" means the key doesn't have Veeqo's shipping API turned on. Ask Veeqo to enable it.
  • "Veeqo Error - HTTP …" — Veeqo returned an error code. Check your key, then contact support with the code.
  • "Veeqo Error - no response from Veeqo" — Veeqo didn't answer in time. Try again. If it keeps happening, contact support.
  • FedEx services are missing but UPS and USPS work — check your Phone number under Settings → General.
  • No Veeqo rates for a Canadian or international address — expected. Veeqo is US only.
