Feed Mapping
Feed Mapping enables Centrifuge to read your feeds. If you need help setting up a feed, please see the Feed Help File: http://kingwebmaster.com/support/index.php?/Knowledgebase/Article/View/71/16/feeds-page
After clicking the "Map This Feed" button, if Centrifuge was able to retrieve the feed file, you will see a list of columns from the feed below. If Centrifuge was unable to retrieve the feed file, you will get an error message.
Each column in your vendor's feed is displayed, and you are able to map it to a variable from your store. The most important thing is that Centrifuge is able to accurately identify each item. For the column that you will use to identify the items, click the radio (option) button in the "Index" column. This will tell Centrifuge to use this column to identify the items using the variable from your store that you selected in the dropdown in the "Map To" column.
For example: Let's say that column A in the feed is the SKU of the item. In your store, you normally enter that in the "Code" variable. You would select "Code" in the dropdown for column A.
Once you have mapped the identifier (Index) column, you should map the column that indicates the Quantity On Hand (number in stock). Find the column in the feed that indicates the quantity on hand, and in the dropdown, select "Quantity on Hand".
You can repeat these procedures to map your other columns as needed. Centrifuge allows you to map your cost, ETA for the product to be back in stock, manufacturer code/sku (in case your or your vendor use different codes), as well as five other custom variables that we set up in your store when Centrifuge was installed. You can set what each of these custom variables are in the store editor. See the Store Editor Help File for more details:
