Control Panel - Summary Page
When you first log in to the Centrifuge Control Panel, you will see the "Summary" page. You can also access this page from anywhere in the control panel by clicking the "summary" link at the top of every page.
The summary page has 3 areas: (Please note: Some of these features are not available if you are using a 3rd party inventory system.)
Your Items Summary
- Total Number of Items - This tells you how many total line items Centrifuge has in its database. Important to note that this also includes options combinations. For example, if you sell a shirt that comes in small, medium, or large, it would count as 3 individual line items.
- Categories - Shows how many total categories you have set in the "My Inventory" page.
- Out of Stock - Shows you the number of line items that are currently out of stock. This is set from within the "My Inventory" page.
- Pending Notifications: X for Y unique items - Shows you how many back-in-stock notifications are currently pending (X), and for how many items (Y).
- Always In Stock - Shows you how many items are set to always show in-stock. This is set from within the "My Inventory" page.
- Inventory Value - Total value based on cost of all your in-stock items.
Inventory Database Functions
This area allows you to download or upload a CSV file of your product database. You can use this to make changes quickly instead of editing one by one. To download or upload, just click the appropriate link.
Lookup Item QOH (Quantity On Hand)
This allows you to lookup individual items based on product SKU (code). Enter the SKU, and click the "Lookup" button. You can look up multiple items by clicking the "add another item" link. After clicking the "lookup" button, the system will show you how many are currently in stock.
